How Instagram Growth Transformed My Business

How Instagram Growth Transformed My Business

Today, we spoke with Chijioke, an Okrika business owner based in Ajah, Lagos, about how Instagram growth turned his struggling thrift store into a thriving brand. Chijioke has been in the business of selling high-quality, second-hand clothes (Okrika) for several years, but he struggled to break through on Instagram. His posts often got lost in the crowd, and despite his hard work, customer traffic was low.

In our conversation, he shared how he first heard about TheKclaut and how it changed the way he approached his business online.

So, Chijioke, what made you start looking for ways to boost your Instagram?

Chijioke:Well, I was frustrated. I’d been selling Okrika for a long time, and Instagram felt like it should be a goldmine for my business, but nothing was happening. I’d post daily, but barely get any likes, let alone comments or inquiries. I was tired of shouting. My shop was okay, but I wanted more, more visibility, more customers, more sales. Then, one of my regular customers told me I needed to change my approach. She said I should look into TheKclaut, a platform that could help boost my account's visibility. She’d heard good things about how businesses like mine were growing thanks to it. So I thought, why not? What did I have to lose?”

What did you think of the idea at first? Were you skeptical about using a service like TheKclaut?

Chijioke: “To be honest, I was a bit skeptical, i guess, everyone would too, because she also told me she wasnt assured at first, until she tested it. I’d heard about people buying followers before, and I thought it was a waste of money. But when my customer told me that TheKclaut wasn’t just about buying followers, but actually about compliment my social media struggles. So, I started thinking maybe this was the change I needed I gave it a try with a small order. I started with boosting followers and getting likes on my posts to see what would happen.”

That sounds like a smart approach. So, what changes did you notice after using TheKclaut for the first time?

Chijioke: “ I didn’t expect much at first. But within just a couple of days, I started seeing more engagement. Like, real people were now liking my posts, commenting, and asking about the clothes I was selling.  I could tell my page was becoming more visible, and that made a huge difference. More people were engaging, and suddenly, my store started feeling like a real business online You see this Marketing thing, im here for it! I even had customers reaching out through DMs asking if I could hold pieces for them. It was exactly what I needed.”

So, how did this affect your business overall?

Chijioke: “Like I said, the growth was pretty quick after I started boosting my Instagram through TheKclaut. I noticed a steady increase in followers, but more importantly, I saw a change in how people interacted with my brand. Instead of having to beg for attention, customers came to me! I got more foot traffic in the shop too, and online, people were more interested in what I was selling My fellow Obianos have been asking what jazz, i used! It felt like I wasn’t just another small business trying to survive, I was starting to get noticed, finally.”

That’s amazing! Would you recommend TheKclaut to other businesses?

Chijioke:Yes, but to those outside of my Thrift Business.

Lol, Thats funny, why?

You know this Business thing nah competition

Dont you think other Thrift Owners would also have Found out?

Well, it's their Business. I guess they are smart too. Not everyone knows this Strategy. I would like to keep mine as a Secret

Lol, Alright, so any other thing you would like to say?

If you’re in business, especially if you're a small business owner like me, you need to be seen. TheKclaut isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about getting you the visibility you need to build a real, engaged audience. For me, it was the boost I needed to show that I was serious about growing my business. It’s not magic, but it works. And it's made all the difference. Thank you.
