How Instagram Growth Transformed My Business

Today, we spoke with Chijioke, an Okrika business owner based in Ajah, Lagos, about how Instagram growth turned his struggling thrift store into a thriving brand. Chijioke has been in the business of selling high-quality, second-hand clothes (Okrika) for several years, but he struggled to break through on Instagram. His posts often got lost in the crowd, and despite his hard work, customer traffic was low.

So, Chijioke, what made you start looking for ways to boost your Instagram?

Chijioke: “Well, I was frustrated. I’d been selling Okrika for a long time, and Instagram felt like it should be a goldmine for my business, but nothing was happening.
